A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between one of the country’s leading industrial organizations, Nabil Group, and the Sustainable Agriculture Foundation Bangladesh (SAF) to strengthen sustainable agricultural development, research, innovation, and farmer-friendly initiatives.
To mark the occasion, an event was held on Monday (May 18) at the Nabil Group head office in Rajshahi. During the event, speakers highlighted that collaboration between public and private initiatives is essential for building a modern, technology-driven, and environmentally friendly agricultural system. Such partnerships are expected to create new opportunities in the agricultural sector and play a significant role in enhancing farmers’ capabilities.
Under the agreement, both organizations will work jointly on agricultural research, technology expansion, farmer skill development training, climate-resilient farming systems, and ensuring food security. In addition, various initiatives will be undertaken to promote innovative agricultural technologies and improve sustainable production systems.
Israat Jahan, Director of Nabil Group and Chairman of Nabil Feed Mills Limited, signed the MoU on behalf of Nabil Group, while Farhad Jamil, Executive Director of SAF, signed on behalf of the organization. Participants at the event expressed their commitment to working together to make the country’s agricultural sector more modern, profitable, and sustainable.
Nabil Group has been continuously working to strengthen the agricultural industry and create employment opportunities across northern Bangladesh and throughout the country.
