A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between one of the country’s leading industrial organizations, Nabil Group, and the Sustainable Agriculture Foundation Bangladesh (SAF) to strengthen sustainable agricultural development, research, innovation, and farmer-friendly activities. On this occasion, a program was held on the afternoon of May 18 at the head office of Nabil Group in Rajshahi.

The event highlighted that coordination between government and private initiatives is highly important for building a modern, technology-driven, and environmentally friendly agricultural system. Such partnerships will open new opportunities in the agricultural sector of the country and play a significant role in enhancing the capacity of farmers.

Under the MoU, both organizations will work jointly in agricultural research, technology dissemination, skills development training for farmers, establishing climate-resilient farming systems, and ensuring food security. In addition, various initiatives will be taken to increase the use of innovative agricultural technologies and develop sustainable production systems.

On behalf of Nabil Group, the agreement was signed by Group Director and Chairman of Nabil Feed Mills Limited, Israt Jahan, and on behalf of SAF by Executive Director Farhad Jamil. Participants at the event expressed their commitment to working together to make the country’s agricultural sector more modern, profitable, and sustainable.

It is noteworthy that Nabil Group has been continuously working to revitalize the agricultural industry in the northern region and across the country, as well as to create employment opportunities.
