Over nearly two decades, Nabil Group has expanded from agricultural commodity trading into food processing, feed, dairy, poultry, logistics and consumer products, building an increasingly integrated business.

In Bangladesh's rapidly evolving agro-industrial landscape, few success stories illustrate the power of strategic diversification as compellingly as Nabil Group of Industries. From a modest trading enterprise in Rajshahi to one of the country's leading integrated food and agriculture conglomerates, the Group's journey reflects nearly two decades of entrepreneurial vision, industrial investment and value-chain development.

The story began in 2006 with the establishment of Shimul Enterprise, a trading business specializing in supplying ingredients to Bangladesh's feed industry. At a time when the country's livestock and poultry sectors were expanding rapidly, the company built its reputation through reliable sourcing, quality assurance and strong relationships with industrial buyers. Those early years provided valuable experience in commodity trading, logistics and supply-chain management, the foundation upon which the Group would later build its manufacturing operations.

Recognizing the growing demand for processed agricultural products, the Group entered manufacturing during the following decade. By 2018, it had established auto rice mills, auto flour mills. feed mills and cold storage facilities and transport operations, creating an integrated ecosystem connecting farmers, processors and consumers. Rather than operating as isolated businesses, these ventures were designed to complement one another through procurement, processing, storage and distribution.

The expansion continued steadily across multiple sectors. Feed manufacturing grew into a multi-unit operation, while rice, flour and pulse processing capacities were expanded in Rajshahi, Narayanganj and Gazipur. The Group later diversified into dairy and cattle farming, poultry, edible oil, crop care, consumer products, construction materials and media, transforming itself into a diversified industrial conglomerate with agriculture at its core.

Today, Nabil Group of Industries operates across several strategic business segments, including agri-business, food commodities, consumer products, trading, logistics, service ventures, building materials and media. Its flagship consumer brands-Nabil, Naba and Foodela-serve households with products ranging from premium rice and flour to lentils and other daily essentials. Group continues importing essential agricultural commodities such as wheat, maize, mustard, canola and feed ingredients to strengthen Bangladesh's food supply chain, while export of daily essential staple food items is underway.
