On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Nabil Group of Industries has launched a food assistance program to support 50,000 underprivileged, poor, and distressed individuals. Additionally, the group has initiated the sale of essential products at reduced prices throughout the month of Ramadan.

The inauguration ceremony took place on Saturday, March 1, at 10:30 AM at the Nabil Group R&D Center in Bamanshikar Khorkhori, Paba Upazila, Rajshahi. The event was officially inaugurated by Nabil Group of Industries’ Chairman, Jahan Baks Mondal, and Managing Director, Aminul Islam.

During the event, Managing Director Aminul Islam emphasized the significance of Ramadan for Muslims as a time for self-purification and spiritual growth. He stated that while some businesses take advantage of this period to maximize profits, Nabil Group prioritizes the welfare of the nation and its people. As part of this initiative, food assistance is being provided to at least 50,000 families in phases.

He further stated that the common business strategy during Ramadan is to exploit market demand for excessive profit. However, Nabil Group has taken a stand against such unethical practices by offering products at even lower prices than their predetermined profit margins. This initiative aims to ease the financial burden on low- and middle-income households, ensuring that both the poor and underprivileged have access to affordable essentials.

Chairman Alhaj Md. Jahan Baks Mondal added that during Ramadan, daily expenses increase for both the rich and the poor. Keeping this in mind, Nabil Group has stepped forward to support the underprivileged during this holy month.
