With the support of Nabil Group of Industries, the Center for Zakat Management (CZM) has implemented the Livelihood Development Center Paba Project aimed at poverty alleviation and human development.

As part of this initiative, a modest fund distribution ceremony was held under the Livelihood Development Center Paba, Rajshahi Project, during which Tk 4,685,000 in Zakat funds was distributed among 398 deserving families in the second phase of the project.

During the event, Colonel (Retd.) Zakaria Hossain, Head of Corporate Affairs at CZM, highlighted the importance of CZM’s livelihood initiatives and discussed the organization’s overall activities. He mentioned that since 2008, CZM has provided various services to nearly 1.7 million people across the country.

The chief guest at the event was Agriculturist Md. Aminul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of Nabil Group of Industries, while the program was presided over by Jahan Boksh Mondol, Chairman of Nabil Group of Industries.

In his speech, the Chairman said,

“We are working for your well-being. Our support is not limited to zakat distribution. Along with this, we also assist mosque imams, madrasa students, provide healthcare services, arrange marriages for children from underprivileged families, and create employment opportunities to make women self-reliant.”
