Nabil Group gifted eco-friendly Nakachua trees to students Rajshahi On the occasion of World Environment Day, June 25, 2025, Nabil Group, one of the largest industrial groups in the country, gifted exotic species of Nakachua trees to students, calling for the boycott of plastic products. The chief guest of the event, Additional Divisional Commissioner (General) of Rajshahi, Habibur Rahman, handed over Nakachua trees to the students as prizes for the essay and painting competition organized by the Department of Environment in Rajshahi.

A discussion meeting and award distribution ceremony was organized at the Rajshahi District Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Wednesday (June 25) morning to mark World Environment Day. Also present at the discussion meeting were Professor Golam Mostafa, Director of the Institute of Environmental Sciences of Rajshahi University, Additional Superintendent of Police of Rajshahi Rafiqul Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Tuktuk Talukder, Deputy Director of the Department of Environment Tasmina Khatun, and Executive Magistrate of the Rajshahi Development Authority Mashiur Rahman. At the end of the ceremony, more than two hundred trees were planted at various campus, including Nabil Group's industrial park and R&D center.
