In Paba upazila of Rajshahi, a total of 398 underprivileged families have received Tk 4.685 million from the Zakat Fund, distributed by the Center for Zakat Management (CZM). The funds were provided under the organization’s Livelihood Development Center Project, which is part of its Quality of Life Improvement Program.

The fund distribution ceremony took place on Saturday (October 4) at the mosque of Nabil Group Industrial Park in Bherapora of the upazila.

The event was presided over by Jahan Boksh Mondol, Chairman of Nabil Group of Industries, while the Managing Director, Agriculturist Aminul Islam, attended as the chief guest. The Program Manager of the Livelihood Paba Project, Abdul Wadud, delivered the welcome speech.

During the event, several female members of the project shared their experiences and success stories, describing how the Livelihood Project helped them become self-reliant. At the end of the program, cheques from the fund were handed over to the leaders of 14 groups.
